What a wonderful surprise to find an amazing welcome basket upon our arrival....such a thoughtful touch which made a huge impression!  And included was a gift certificate to Michaelagelo's Pizza for our dinner .... this was greatly appreciated...and very good!  The house was stocked with many unexpected amenities .... such as shampoo, soap, dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, tissues, makeup wipes, cleaning supplies, flashlights and mini refrigerators stocked with water and soda... and the kitchen was well equipped....the list goes on.  We have stayed at several vacation rentals over the years, however the level of hospitality and amenities with this rental is above the rest.  Thank you for a wonderful week.

We absolutely loved our stay! The stairs was a lot getting from the top to the bottom but it was a very beautiful home! We loved the welcome basket with snacks & gift certificate as well. We would definitely stay again!

We loved this property. Everything was well maintained and clean. We like to cook a lot, so the well equipped kitchen with the spices, good supply of pots and pans, plenty of cooking utensils, etc... was greatly appreciated. It was very clean and all the extras, like the beach chairs, bikes, hammock, games, paper and cleaning products... so many things made it all the better. We also loved the gift basket and cold beverages upon our arrival. Unfortunately for us, we never know who exactly will be staying with us, so we cannot book in advance, otherwise, we already would have booked this for 2025. Thanks for a great stay!!!

I've been coming to EI since 1989, and have never been treated like royalty until this trip! As you grow larger I hope you don't lose that personal touch! The beds were exceptionally comfortable! All the decks with those wonderful rockers The beachfront cottage was perfect, our weather was great. our family Potluck gathering was do much fun .

Overall, this property was over the top excellent in terms of high quality furniture, decor and supplies. One of the best beach houses we have stayed at in 20+ years of visiting VA, NC and SC coasts.

Australian Gold East is a beautiful property, the location is wonderful & the view is unbeatable! This is our 4th time staying in A.G. East and hopefully not our last. The owners put obvious care in making sure guests have all they need and more. The gift basket is just wonderful!

This is our 10th year with this property and it just feels like home. Sun surf is also very helpful with anything we need. We love all the updates each year, down to even a new rug. We greatly appreciate the basket and gift certificate each year as well. Thanks so much for another wonderful stay!

We normally stay at the Outer Banks. Anywhere from Corolla all the way to Avon, for the past 22 years. This was the cleanest house I have ever seen. I was very impressed.

Australian Gold East is a wonderful property! The pictures accurately depict the home and all the amenities! What wasn't shown were all the extras that the Hosts had provided! Paper products, water, sodas, paper plates, napkins, plastic cups, laundry supplies … the list goes on and on! Everyone that stopped by absolutely loved the property! Dealing with Surf Sun Realty was also very pleasant and professional. From beginning to end, they handled everything very well and very professionally.

Property was so well appointed! The homeowners thought of everything! I loved the labeling on the light switches so we knew exactly which ones to use! Beautifully decorated and you can't beat those views! Would stay there every year and maybe even the rest of my life! Lol! Thank u for the wonderful vacation!

We really enjoyed this property - the layout and normal everyday home comforts! It was very apparent the owners of this home are renting for the purpose of having guests feel warm, comfortable, and right at home. There was nothing lacking in this home for a great feel-at-home vacation!!! We could not stop talking about the thought that went in to putting this home together! The owners of this property have really worked hard to make this a welcoming vacation home. They have tried to provide everything you would need from beach chairs to bikes. We were so thrilled with the little extras especially the drinks provided in the many refrigerators and the gift basket and gift certificate for pizza. What a nice gesture of hospitality!

Well maintained place, beautifully decorated throughout. Owners have spared no expense in making the house comfortable, well furnished with amenities for guests. Each floor had their own special features and it was such a relaxing, enjoyable place. We liked that the living room was large enough for everyone to gather but each couple could retreat to their own area for private time. The nicest summer rental property we have ever stayed!

This place was better than expected! We loved it! We especially loved the bikes, hot tub and kids room. The lay out of the house was perfect so that everyone had their own space. It was so sweet of the owner to leave such a nice gift basket and money for a great pizza dinner. After a long day of traveling that was a wonderful treat! All of the extras provided were so helpful too. We went planning to go out to dinner every night but we only left the house one evening for dinner and ice cream because no one wanted to leave the house and beach. We were so sad to have to leave early because of hurricane authur but we'll be back next year! Thanks so much to the owner and sun surf for an awesome vacation!

I appreciate the owner going over and beyond to make this house so relaxing. The dishwasher was so quiet you would never know it was running and the washing machine was super large which I loved. Kitchen pots and pans were of very good quality. The house was very clean , which is a biggy for me. He thought of everything for the deck such as deck radio and porch swing. It was great to arrive and have bottles of water in the frig. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner before we left and he was very nice.Thank you for caring so much about the house and its upkeep. Especiality loved the gift upon arrival. I look forward to enjoying this lovely home again.

We appreciated all of the additional features offered by this house. Specifically, having the beach chairs, gas grill, hot tub, bikes, refrigerators stocked with water and soda, and croquet were nice features that made the stay more enjoyable.

Australian Gold East was the finest home that we have rented in the six years we have been coming to Emerald Isle! It was beautifully decorated and had so many nice touches that make you feel at home, that it took us several days to discover them all! We hated to leave, we will definitely rent the property again next year.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and he is to be congratulated on the design and building of Australian Gold. We never have much luck with hot-tubs at Emerald Isle. They never seem to work. We have been coming to emerald isle for about ten years and australin gold by far was the best house that we have stayed at. Every year we've went with a different house but this is one that we will make our first choice for our family vacation. We enjoyed every bit of our stay.
